ICMQ is third party independent inspection body (type A) accredited by Accredia according to the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard and develops activity of evaluation for the validation of the design of buildings and technical control for new constructions. 
The service of evaluation for the validation of the design of buildings, provided by the art. 112 of the Decree 163/06 (Code of the public works contracts), consists in the execution of all the necessary verifications so that the person responsible of the procedure of a public work is able, before starting the iter of contract of the works, to validate the project, attesting the quality, the technical-economic congruity and the normative conformity.    
The technical control for new constructions is aimed to the issuing, by insurance companies, of insurance posthumous decennial policies that the executors both of public works, both of private interventions are bound to take out in order to protect the public purchaser and the buyer of new buildings from the damages arising from total or partial bankrupt or from serious constructive defects. 
Moreover ICMQ is body qualified by the economic Development Ministry in order to effect the verification of electrical installations and protection systems, as provided by the Decree 462/01.
