

ICMQ Istituto di certificazione e marchio qualità for products and services in construction field is a non profit association founded in 1988 by three trade associations in order to promote end foster quality, durability and sustainability of building products and the construction industry, as well as the respect of standards, laws and prescriptions.
ICMQ Members include all the Italian Associations of companies involved in the construction business and represent company producers, users, the academic world and designers. It also includes three Italian Ministries (Production activities, Infrastructure and Environment), the Italian Energy Board and the Italian Railways.
In 2001 the Istituto founded ICMQ Spa, operating company that offers certification and inspection services.
It is also the single shareholder of Cersa Srl (www.cersa.com) certification body born in 2006 on the iniziative of trade associations and important public bodies in order to meet the needs of services suppliers.
Since April 2008 ICMQ India (www.icmq.in) has been founded, with the aim to export matured skills and quality culture in a country in which the construction sector is in high development. The company, with head quarter in Mumbai and an operating office in New Delhi, has achieved the NRBPT Accreditation as Certification Body for Quality Management System and the QCI recognition as Third Inspection Body for infrastructure projects. It jobs training activities about all certification and inspection services; it has achieved Lead Auditor course for Quality Management System accreditation (NABET).
